Kobe got his 5th ring last night as LA beat Boston 83-79 in Game 7 of the NBA finals last night. Bryant didn’t play efficiently but he got it done when it mattered and scrapped to put up 23 points and grab 15 rebounds. That along with Pau Gasol’s 19 points and 18 boards plus Ron Artest’s 20 points (also QUEENSBRIDGE and Ron Ron’s psychiatrist) led the 2010 Lakers to avenge the ’08 Finals loss to the Celtics.

Now the ever present Kobe v. Jordan debate will heighten. Has Kobe caught Michael? Or only closed the gap? What do you think? Kobe or MJ?
