Why not send 5-10 pairs to the Louisville store again? A week later like last time? Sure go for it.

I think its funny that at first it said location to be determined, now all of the sudden, “nike” says they have to put them in their memphis store (that didnt even sell out of the 1st colorway).

We requested to put these shoes in other markets but were denied by Nike. Earlier this week they told us exactly where we were allowed to put them on launch day. No exceptions.
Nike does this to make sure that they know exactly how many shoes go to which market and how often.
When given the chance we spread the love. We appreciate you and the love you show for CityGear. Come see us because we’re rockin some other shoes and special deals that you won’t want to miss!

I left my house in Omaha, Ne at 7:00pm on Friday April 3rd headed to City Gear in St. Louis, Mo. I arrived shortly after 1:00 am City Gear there was 1 other car in the parking lot and they were from Louisville, KY we camped out in our cars until 5 something then stood in front of the door until the very friendly staff of City Gear arrived to hand out tickets! The 6 1/2 hour drive by myself was worth it not only because I got a pair of Air Yeezy’s for retail price but because I was greeted by a friendly staff that did not act like d*ck heads b/c they carried the Yeezy’s every other store I called acted as if was a privilege for me to call them and ask about the Yeezy’s. No matter how many times I called City Gear about the Yeezy’s they were friendly and encouraged to come down and get a pair. City Gear buyer you would be doing St. Louis and surrounding areas a disservice by not having a full size run of the Air Yeezy’s in St. Louis. There was no drama we all chopped it up about sneakers, music, exchanged info and got a pair of Yeezy’s!

I am an employee at store 10 in memphis, and its unfortunate we all can not get the shoes, but hopefully if we sell them quickly everyone will receive the third color, contact us for sizing info.

Omg! Please bring them back to Saint Louis. After reading hundreds of e-mail/post I have realized that one persons response was right about city gear. City Gear staff and employees are some of the most nicest friendliest people in the saint louis area. no matter how many times I have blown up their office asking about the air yeezys, they always give the best customer service and are never rude and unprofessional like a lot of these other sneaker boutiques/stores. Please bring them back to City Gear Saint Louis!!!!

thats just not a smart business move for city gear or nike to send them to two city gears in memphis, not just one but two of them and they did’nt even sale out of the first pair thats just retarted, st.louis is more of sneaker city than memphis anyways. They sold well at the st.louis spot so just bring them back to the stl please or do us like you did louisville city gear.

THE YEEZY RELEASE HERE IN STL WAS THE BEST SNEAKER RELEASE EVER! VERY QUIET, SAFE, AND CALM. SNEAKERHEADS WHERE OUTSIDE WAITING SO PATIENT. THE GUYS WHO WORK AT CITY GEAR STL ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND RESPECTFUL WHICH REALLY PUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE FOR THE RELEASE. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK, ITS A GURANTEE THAT THEY WILL ALL SALE OUT!

I appreciate all the feedback about StL and Louisville. We know you have the passion for the shoes and our launches went very well in these markets.
I just spent two days at the Nike campus in Oregon meeting with them about lots of subjects to include these sorts of events. To sum it up – if we could we would. We have a pretty good idea where we want the shoes. Nike has a very good idea where they want the shoes. Tie goes to Nike!
On another note, Nike and Jordan are doing a terrific job on product. You will be blown away by what you’re going to see in the future.
I love the feedback! I love the opportunity to explain ourselves to you. This is the reason we have the web site.

Im really not going to drive down 7 hours and camp for 24 hours for a ticket that only gives me a Chance to get a pair. Thats crazy.
The st. louis and louisville stores gave out tickets and that meant you Were Guaranteed a pair.

Drove 8 hours to memphis, went to the city gear on american way, and greeted by very nice employees, some of the best customer service I’ve seen in years. “southern hospitality” camped with people from all over, shout out to all of you. City Gear runs a straight business and makes sure their customers are treeted well. The owner came by, and reinsured us that they run a straight business. They got us donuts and coffee for those that camped. So i recommend if your into sneakers, check city gear out in memphis, you wont be dissapointed.

Yo thanks to City Gear for having the Yeezy’s and the city of Memphis for not being on them. Everyone that copped them was from out of town. Had fun camping out met some cool people shot out to Dre and his girl, Alex, Chi-Town, and the rest of the peeps who drove hundreds of miles to get the Yeezy’s. It’s Amazing So Amazing!!!!
